An alumnus of William Parker and the Little Huey Creative Music Orchestra and Cecil Taylor's large New York ensemble, Marco Eneidi put together a large orchestra of seasoned players, along with quite a few of the younger local students in the San Francisco Bay Area in the winter of 1995--students interested in learning about the new jazz that was taking place in America today. The outcome of several months of long rehearsals is a series of pieces representing some of the most creative improvisational music of our time.
